Stop pointing out how I’m dressed, and bringing it to everyone’s attention that I’m wearing a tie.
Please stop telling me that I’ll always look like a girl, like it’s a compliment.
Please. Please. Please. I know you’re trying to be encouraging and make feel attractive. I know you’re trying to be an accepting parent and love me.
But you are making me so, so, SO self conscious.
